Please Keep Praying for Kenya

The Violence in Kenya has not ceased or become any better. It is open tribal revenge killings going on in some parts of Kenya. These killings are sparking more killings around the country and just this last weekend 150 people died in Naivasha and Nakuru alone!

The Killing of one of the Opposition MPs in Nairobi last night has not helped the matter very much either. So as we look helplessly from a distance to what is happening in our beloved country all we can do is pray that the Lord will intervene and lasting peace will come to Kenya soon. Please Pray with us for Kenya!

This morning as I read the Bible these verses ministered to my heart and I know that even though it does not seem like God is in control I know He is! And he hears our GROANS and is concerned about us and our Country Kenya!

Exodus 2:23 - 25 ...The Israelites groaned in their slavery and cried out, and their cry for help because of their slavery went up to God. God heard their groaning and he remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac and with Jacob. So God looked on the Israelites and was concerned about them.

Hey Guys,

Just wanted to send out a note to let you know we are praying earnestly for Kenya as well. Carol Ann and I wish you well and hope by the time you return that things will be more peacable. I was wondering if you had contact with anyone in Tiriki? That is where I (Tommy) was back in October, and I've not heard from them recently.

Our hearts are heavy for what is happening, but we know the Lord will work it together for the good of those who serve Him.
