ONE YEAR!!

Well its hard to believe that we have been married for almost a year now!! WOW! Time really flies. This Monday July 7th we will be celebrating our one year wedding anniversary. After being so busy these last few months and really this last entire year since we got married, we've decided to take a little three day vacation for our anniversary. I think we really need it. We are leaving Anjela Grace with Jill and Dennis has planned a three night stay for us at a beautiful place called Turtle Bay about two hours from where we live. Its a nice beach resort on the Indian Ocean and I can't wait to relax in the sun. Of course as a new mommy I'm already missing our little Anjela and we haven't even left yet. But its going to be so nice to spend some quality time with my sweet hubby! We haven't had much US time since we arrived in Kenya three months ago and became new parents.

We will be gone until Tuesday morning and then Dennis,Ben, and two other BTCP teachers from Mombasa will be taking the night bus to Nairobi that night to attend a BTCP Pastor's Seminar/Retreat there for two days. Also that night Jessi Bourne, another DBC stinter, will fly in to join us for the next month. She will be staying with Dennis and I and we are excited about having her here with us. Karibu Kenya Jessi! Please pray for the guys safety as they travel to Nairobi by bus and for Jessi and traveling mercies as she flies out next week from Texas.
