Dear Friends,
Our friend Gayman is here and tomorrow morning we will start a two week long ministry to the pastors and church leaders in the North Coast of Mombasa. This will involve driving 30 miles each way. We will be leaving at 7 in the morning and getting back at 7 in the evening. Please pray for the long journey and our safety on tough roads.

Meet our friend Gayman (Pictured here teaching in a past conference). Gayman is married to Mary-Alice and they have 2 grown children and a teenage boy named Sam. They live in Argyle Texas. Gayman is a Veterinary Pathologist and shares our passion for not only teaching pastors here in Kenya but shepherding them as well. This is his 3rd trip to Kenya and each time he has come he has been teaching about discipleship to the same group of pastors and church leaders - most of whom are current or former BTCP students in the South Coast area of Mombasa.

Meet our host pastor Chiro. He is a faithful man of God who has been involved in the ministry of teaching pastors for the last 9 years. He has graciously hosted us at his church the last two times we have had our conferences in North Coast and this week will host us again.

The unique thing about pastor Chiro is that he is a native of North Coast who has a burden for the people of North Coast. He has planted 5 churches in that region and is very involved in the discipling of the pastors in those churches. Pastor Chiro is married to Dorcas and they have 3 children. His first born son is in University, Second son just out of high school and their last daughter is 9 years old.

  1. Please pray that these coming two weeks will be about Jesus.
  2. Pray that God will keep us safe and refreshed every day as we drive to the conference.
  3. Please pray for Gayman and I as we teach these men this week and visit their churches the following one.
  4. Pray also for the men we teach this week that they will be attentive and eager to learn and share what they learn with their church members after the conference.

Dennis Omondi.
