February Update

Dear Friends!

Happy New Year to all of you! Hope your year is going well so far. As we start a New Year we wanted to say a huge thank you for your prayers and support for us as a family and for the ministry we are so blessed to take part in here in Kenya.God is so good and so faithful!

We have much to be thankful for so we wanted to share with you a couple of updates.

First thank you for your prayers for our family as we had to be separated this past month so Dennis could go and take care of some immigration paperwork and appointments in the States. We praise God that He took him there and brought him back safely to us. Thank you to everyone who so graciously hosted him, provided for him, and took care of him in so many ways. He sure didn't do without! His appointment with immigration went very well and he will be receiving his 10 year Resident card in the next 6-12 months. Also the month of rest and encouragement from special friends and family did wonders for his emotional, physical and spiritual life and for that we are very thankful! He came back with a more uplifted spirit! We praise God for sustaining and taking care of Allison and Anjela as they had to remain in Kenya and for all those who ministered to them in Dennis' absence.

And thanks everyone who sent their love and hugs by sending gifts back with Dennis for Allison and Anjela. What fun and joy it was for Anjela and I to open them all. Unfortunately when Dennis packed everything he had to unwrap and move things around to save space and weight (some things had to even be left behind til next month when a small team will bring it to us) and he can't remember exactly WHO gave what...so if you were one of those who sent hugs via suitcase, Anjela and I say a huge ASANTE SANA!! (thank you very much). What a blessing everything is and a reminder that we have so many people remembering and praying for us.

Also for those of you who have been praying and following up on Anjela's adoption, we have good news concerning its progress. We finally have been given our first court date appearance. It will be for the morning of February 19th @8:30am. (the day after Allison's b-day) We aren't exactly sure what this day will be about but we hope to also be given our second and hopefully final court date when we leave that day. Please pray that we will find favor in the eyes of the appointed officials and that all will go smoothly.

We would love to know how each of you are doing and how we can be praying for you too!

God Bless,
Dennis, Allison and Anjela Omondi
