Thought we were moving....but TIK hits again

Well we don't really know what to say. But TIK (this is kenya) strikes again. This last few days has been a whirlwind. Yes in the midst of Allison being sick with a flu like sickness and Anjela beginning to teethe (you parents know what thats like) our entire house is packed and yet we are still sitting in the same house amidst a sea of boxes. We are not moving yet. Yesterday while the house was being packed Dennis was gone to the new house to make sure everything was in order for us to move...they werent as we expected of course.Well when he got back last night he came home very discouraged with a bad feeling about the house. This morning we got up and prayed for wisdom and when Dennis called to talk to the landlord misunderstandings came up and we made the hard decision that we shouldn't move into this house. So here we are......in the sea of boxes seeking wisdom on what to do. The next option we have is to move to Diani/Ukunda area and live in a temporary place until we can find another house. Our desire is to go ahead and to be near the church so we can minister affectively. Today Jill called us from Ukunda to tell us about an apartment she saw today that may be good for us to live in temporarily. So tomorrow we, (depending on how Allison feels) may travel to Ukunda to look at this place and seek out another place to live. Please keep praying for us. This is a VERY stressful time for our family. Through this all pray that we keep our hope in the Lord and His providential plan for us!

And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

You will keep in perfect peace him whose mind is steadfast, because he trusts in you. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD, is the Rock eternal. Isaiah 26:3-4

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. Isaiah 55:8-9
