God is good all the Time!

Isaiah 43:1-2
But now, thus says the LORD, who created you, O Jacob, and formed you, O Israel: Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name: you are mine.
When you pass through the water, I will be with you; in the rivers you shall not drown. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned; the flames shall not consume you.

Thank you so much for the flood of email responses reminding us that we have many friends and brothers and sisters in Christ out there praying for us during this stressful time. God is good all the time and we praise Him for walking through (actually "carrying us" might be a better term!) this time with us. Please keep praying with us!! We may not be able to respond to each of your emails personally but wanted to say thank you for praying and for encouraging us with the Lord's promises. Praise God we do not battle alone and that His grace is sufficient , His strength perfect and His path and plan sovereign! God knows exactly what He is doing and where He wants us and since the first night we stayed in this apartment on Tuesday, both Dennis and I have felt peace and certainty that we are right where God wants us. We actually looked at one of these apartments when we first started looking for places to move to, but both agreed it wasn't ideal. But look where God has us now. His ways are definitely not ours but we know and believe they are much better!! Our little apartment is already beginning to feel like home. We both agree that what we thought was a temporary place may actually turn into long term. Lots to be done to make it that way but we will just wait and see.

Praise God with us too that Allison is feeling so much better and with the help of our househelper Ruth, Abby and a few friends, she has had the strength to unpack some and begin setting up our home. Anjela is doing well and her first tooth is starting to poke through. Dennis is busy fixing and trying to make our house live-able as well as carrying the responsibility of preparing to meet with some key leaders and members of our church on Saturday and preaching on Sunday. Pray for wisdom, discernment and guidance.

Stressors are high and we believe the enemy has targeted us and wants to discourage and destroy us as a family and the work God has brought us to do. Please keep praying for us, for Word of Life Church, and for God to change the hearts and the lives of this community.

Love the Omondis

Hello Omandis,

My name is Mark Maynard. I have a ministry in East Africa called howFar Ministries. We do church planting and discipleship. I am so excited to see that you have a BTCP ministry. I'd like to discuss the possibility of some of our pastors attending.

In fact, I noticed some of my pastor friends in your photos

Do you have an email of telephone number that I can contact you on.

BTW, I used to go to Countryside Bible and lived just north of Denton Bible in Pilot Point.
